Greetings from the land of the free and the home of the brave. I just wanted to drop you a line to express my heartfelt appreciation for everything that you guys did for us. It is rare (or maybe its not) when you meet people who are so selfless and accomadating. We disrupted your lives and it really didn't seem to matter. Thanks again and we'll see you under better circumstances. Maybe next year on vacation. We'll stop by. God bless you. You guys are the best.

We have just got back some pictures and I will try to sent them to you as soon as I can get them scanned in. We hope you and all of the others will keep in touch. We miss you a lot!!

Enjoyed your site. By the way, I publish a journal quarterly on the history of Greenspond and its neighbours. IF you are interrested, Land and Sea on CBC television is doing a programme on it on Tuesday Nov 20 at 7pm.

Hello,

My Daughter lives in Brussels Belgium. While she was doing some research on the events of September the 11th, she learned of your URL, and this morning she shared your web page with me.

My Mother is from Badger Quay. Her name is Winifred Hickman (maiden name Stratton)

Her parents are Stephen Stratton and Ellen Jane Winters.

I am very excited to link up with a small part of my ancestory. Thank you for having a URL.

Sincerley

My niece in Belgium came across this site when doing research. What a find for us!! My mother is from Badger's Quay, her maiden name is Stratton, daughter of Stephen and Ellen Jane Stratton. We were there in 1960 as a family, and I loved the quaintness of the area. Thanks for all your hard work on the site! And thanks for another connection in my genealogy.

This site is great! My Mom grew up on Pool's Island so I'm sending her the URL to have a look for herself. I'm sure it'll bring back some great memories for her.

Just wanted to check on status of flight 27 passengers and those of you at Mint Brook Camp. Hope all is well with everyone and that Mint Brook is looking forward to Spring! I still have fond memories of our stay at Mint Brook and the wonderful way everyone responded in a time of tragedy.

Hello to all from West Virgina!!

John, at long last I'm here. Please don't faint. Your site looks really, really good - I'm impressed. I have a parishioner who is developing a site for St. Augustine's - so I will get him to look at this site. I hope and pray that all is going well for both you and Karen and I look forward to seeing you again soon - when either you are in 'town' or we are your way. Do have a blessed Lent.
David Pilling
